Beautiful hair without silicons?
We all crave for beautiful, shiny and strong hair and know the effects of silicone schampoos very well. Silicone was considered the miracle weapon for shiny and voluminous hair. However, shampoos with silicone have been in the criticism for some time now. We want to enlighten why a silicone-free shampoo is better than one with silicone and why a 100% natural bio shampoo is even better.
Silicone is a purely synthetic material, which ensures smooth, beautiful hair ... on the surface. If you take a closer look, you can see that silicone creates a layer on the hairstring, like a seal, encasing it to protect it from external influences. This means that nothing from outside could damage hair easily, unfortunately this also means that it can no longer breathe and slowly dries from the inside. Anyone who has ever exposed his hair to silicone deprivation may have noticed this. The hair takes a long break (months) to recover completely from a silicone shampoo.
Silicone-free shampoos are therefore advisable. How do you recognize a shampoo without silicone?
