OBTAINING: Aloe vera was called by the Egyptians the plant of immortality and since then it has had various medicinal and beauty uses. It is a type of cactus that grows in dry climates especially in Africa and India. It has been used for centuries for medicinal purposes, and is one of the most scientifically studied plants. It is obtained in cold pressing.
BENEFITS: Aloe vera has two hormones -auxinas and gibberellins-, with anti-inflammatory properties and stimulating the growth of new cells. It penetrates the three layers of the skin: epidermis, the dermis, the hypodermis, expelling bacteria and fat deposits that clog the pores. It is an important cell regenerator, healing, toning and high skin penetration, when used regularly, prevents premature wrinkles and delays those of age, since it has antioxidants -beta carotenes, vitamin C and E-, which improve the firmness of the skin and allow it to stay hydrated. It is astringent and eliminates stains caused by the sun, prevents rashes, pimples and reddening of the skin quickly closing the dilated pores.
It is used on hair to prevent hair loss, reduce sebum and treat scalp problems such as eczema or dandruff. Aloe Vera is very effective in the treatment of this type of problem since it exerts a bactericidal and fungicidal action, while its enzymatic action drags the dead cells of the scalp. The symptoms disappear from the first applications.
