BITTER ORANGE
INCI: Citrus aurantium
OBTAINING: The bitter orange tree is an ornamental tree that is planted in gardens, parks and public roads, no more than 8 meters high, has a rounded crown and branches with thorns, hard leaves, elliptical and very aromatic white flowers. The fruit, the bitter orange, is smaller than the one of culture, of very bitter flavor.
BENEFITS: They have antiseptic, antispasmodic, soothing, moisturizing, healing, venotonic and bactericidal properties. Its content in flavonoids, vitamin C and vitamin B3 make it a good antioxidant and protective treatment against the action of sunlight. In addition, these assets stimulate the generation of collagen that attenuates wrinkles and fine lines. Activators of the circulation and anti-cellulite: the flavonoids that have the bitter orange extract help to treat cases of varicose veins, inadequate veins and increase the resistance of the capillaries. The extract attenuates inflammation, being ideal for sensitive or irritated skin, as well as for cases of inflammation in general. The active ingredients of the extract perform a small exfoliation on the skin that reduces wrinkles and blemishes caused by aging and sun exposure. Carbohydrates that contain this extract are able to absorb liquids, avoiding the massive loss of water from the skin and slowing dehydration, which makes it a very effective ingredient to combat wrinkles and premature aging.
