Silk Proteins

PROTEÍNA DE SEDA

SILK PROTEINS

INCI: Hydrolyzed silk

OBTAINING: The extraction of silk raw material begins with the cultivation of silkworms in mulberry leaves. The silkworms, then the caterpillars, lay eggs in their silk cocoons. This is where the chemistry comes in: the silk cocoons are submerged in boiling water to separate the silk filaments (the silk protein called fibroin) from the natural tail (sericin, the rarest silk protein).

BENEFITS: Silk protein is a true protein that softens and strengthens hair. Improves and maintains the hydration of the hair. Makes hair silky and shiny.
